Refund policy

<h2>Returns and Refunds</h2>
<p>Every piece we sell is vintage, antique or second-hand. Items are one-off and are sold in the condition described and photographed, including any age-related wear.</p>

<h3>Your rights under Australian Consumer Law</h3>
<p>Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item is faulty in a way that was not disclosed, is significantly different from its description or photographs, or does not do what we said it would, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.</p>
<p>Because our stock is one-off, a replacement is usually not possible, so we will offer a refund or a repair.</p>
<p>To make a claim, email us at <a href="mailto:Hello@citadelkyneton.com.au">Hello@citadelkyneton.com.au</a> within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days.</p>

<h3>Change of mind</h3>
<p>Because each piece is unique and hand-selected, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Please read descriptions carefully, look at all photographs, and ask us any questions before you buy. We are always happy to send extra photos or measurements.</p>

<h3>Damage in transit</h3>
<p>If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the item and the packaging. We will work with the carrier to resolve it and will refund or compensate you.</p>

<h3>Return postage</h3>
<p>Where a return is accepted under the Australian Consumer Law, we cover return postage. For large or fragile items we will arrange collection.</p>

<h3>Inspect in person</h3>
<p>You are welcome to view any item in person at 3 Bowen Street, Kyneton before you buy. Just get in touch to arrange a time.</p>
